Haven Counseling seeks to treat the whole person and is based on solid Biblical principles.  We provide faith-based counseling to individuals, couples, and families.

Our counselor’s seek God’s leadership and empowerment in order to provide a wide range of spiritually sensitive, high-quality, cost-effective behavioral health services to our community.

These services include behavioral health counseling, family-life education, and consultation.  They are provided in a compassionate, professional manner and are guided by Christian values.

DR. DON BARTLEY

LMFT

Don Bartley holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Denver Seminary in Denver Colorado and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary in Springfield Missouri. 

He has been serving as a therapist since 1983, has directed three different counseling centers, and has taught Marriage and Family on the University level as well as serving as pastor for churches. 

Don is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina and an ordained minister.

Dr. Bartley’s is also a n accomplished author. Check out his book, “Say ‘I Love You’–101 Ways How”. and discover some simple, common sense ways to show your love for your significant other.

HANNAH HOUSTON

LCMHC

Hannah Houston obtained a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia and is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina.

She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who may be dealing with emotional and behavioral concerns. Hannah provides counseling for anxiety, marriage & relationships, depression, trauma, divorce, as well as other areas that may be of concern for the individual seeking counseling services. Hannah aims to provide a relational style of counseling and seeks to foster a supportive environment for growth and healing.

CIARA MUSGRAVE

LCSW

Ciara McNeill Musgrave is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker  (LCSW), and received her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from one of the few Joint Masters of Social Work programs in the country, at the universities of NC A&T and UNCG.

During her undergraduate years, Ciara acquired degrees in both Human Development and Family Studies and Psychology. Ciara has experience working in school system with ages K-12 and is certified to work in any school in NC. She also has nearly 1.5 years of experience working professionally in community mental health where she worked with individuals and groups of people ranging from ages 4 to 60+ years old and acted as a Child and Adolescent Specialist.

As a private practice clinician, Ciara provides counseling for children/adolescents, couples, and families who are seeking support for issues such as: anxiety, transitions/adjustments in life, depression, grief and loss, trauma informed therapy, as well as other areas of concern for the individuals seeking services.

KARLA PITTMAN

LCSWA

Karla obtained her master’s degree at UNC-Wilmington where she was taught skills to be an efficient Clinical Social Worker.

She is an LCSWA and she has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings throughout her profession.

She is determined to embrace her passion of working with others to help them heal and to grow. She believes that everyone deserves to live a fulfilled life and therapy can absolutely support that mission.

Karla enjoys her work and deeply respects the therapeutic relationship by creating a safe space and a welcoming atmosphere.
